Aggregate Financial Services advised on the successful completion of the EUR 109m financing transaction, consisting of secured senior and junior tranches for the acquisition and development of the “Benrather Gärten” area in Düsseldorf.
The property to be developed in Düsseldorf-Benrath comprises a plot area of around 148,000 sqm. The site was used historically by ThyssenKrupp for the finishing of flat steel. The sponsors will develop a new urban quarter that includes a mixture of residential and commercial use as well as social infrastructure (school, kindergarten and cultural centre).
The financing was arranged together with several institutional investors and has been structured to be conform to applicable regulatory standards and investment guidelines.
